Digital Manager – PPC&Analytics

We have an exciting opportunity to oversee and develop our inhouse PPC buying team, that manages campaigns across our large portfolio of Toy and FMCG brands, located in Shenzhen, China.

As our Digital Manager – PPC & Analytics, you will lead our Pay Per Click strategy and buying across Social, Google, Amazon and Programmatic Display. Daily, you will alongside your direct report, implement initiatives that engage our core customers and drive profitable growth for our brands through strong reach and sales conversion.

You will spearhead our relationships with Google and Facebook Hong Kong, leveraging the partnership to optimize and continuously improve our brand planning, content development and media buying capabilities.

This role oversees one Jnr Digital Manager and travel to Hong Kong is required.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Oversee ZURU’s in house PPC team, driving team strategy, optimization and growth plans
  • Set annual and campaign KPI’s and execute against them
  • Receive briefs from Local Toy & FMCG Marketing Teams then plan, implement and optimize paid search, display and YouTube campaigns across our large brand portfolio
  • Work closely with the Local Marketing Managers to ensure all activity falls in line with the larger brand and sales strategy
  • Ensure campaigns are continuously optimized according to brief and best practice guidelines and budget provided
  • Manage our relationship with Google & Facebook Hong Kong ensuring we are meeting targets and unlocking new Beta opportunities and added value to improve our operations
  • Work with the brand and social team to ensure landing pages and content are effectively tracked and optimized
  • Lead digital tracking and trafficking strategy and set up required tagging across media and owned platforms to accurately report on effectiveness and agreed KPI’s
  • Provide weekly, and end of campaign reporting including actionable insights and learnings
  • Manage all budgets and financial processes
  • Be the teams center of excellence for PPC, keeping up to date with the latest industry trends and educating the wider team
  • Define new strategies and continuous drive the team to improve across all paid & owned digital elements

Desired Skills & Experience

  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar or PPC Manager position
  • Proven track record in driving successful PPC and TrueView campaigns
  • Strong working knowledge of Google AdWords, Google Analytics, Facebook Business Manager, Digital Tagging, Amazon Media Services
  • Google AdWords & Analytics certification preferable
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Passion for PPC and digital marketing

Junior Brand Manager

As a Junior Brand Manager, you will be responsible for bringing ZURU’s newest brands to market, spearheading production timelines, collaborating on creative, and implementing marketing campaigns to educate the consumer on the hottest new trends. Take the lead on a given project, from concept development to final production output. Conduct market research, develop concepts, manage planning and costs, manage internal and external partners until successful execution that will embody our products and licensing brands.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Meet with stakeholders to determine assigned category/product lines objectives and strategies
  • Closely monitor sales volume, market trends identifying new, global product and incremental category opportunities based on quantitative and qualitative analysis of the industry, category, and consumer behavior.
  • Coordinate product management with cross-functional partners including but not limited to R&D, Design, Engineering, Packaging and Operations to achieve cost targets and ensure on-time market entry.
  • Partner with R&D on new product development. Support new product development efforts including defining product/category vision, product objectives, consumer experience, and merchandising expectations.
  • Partner with International Sales team and Distribution Partners on strategic marketing plans and develop Marketing Assets to support the portfolio. Work closely with TV Studios producing ZURU Commercials for each Brand.
  • Conduct timely analysis of sales performance and execute effective reaction tactics in partnership with sales and agency partners.
  • Prepare presentations on a regular basis to support the sell-in of brands and new product lines to retail partners and to various levels of the business.
  • Prepare reports on brand performance and sales
  • Be a product champion creating internal and external enthusiasm for the product line and serve as a mentor and resource to other team members.

Executive / Communication Planner

As a Communicaiton Executive, you will work closely with the Senior Marketing Manager, to develop the strategy, implement and evaluate all ZURU’s communications efforts across paid, owned and earned media in our leading international market. You will produce strategic and effective campaigns for ZURU’s portfolio of brands across the girls and boys toy segments that drive brand awareness, engagement with core target audiences and profitable growth through sales conversion.

You will champion your markets within the Global Marketing Team and own every touchpoint families and kids have with our brands in the Germany, UK, France and Benelux.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Support Marketing Manager to plan annual and seasonal marketing budgets and calendars in collaboration with Sales for ZURU’s leading markets: Germany, UK, France and Benelux.
  • Develop integrated communication strategies for each activating brand incorporating PR, Paid Media, Instore and Online working in collaboration with Marketing Manager, Sales, Product Development, Brand Managers and retail partners to create effective and aligned plans.
  • Implement, constantly optimize and report on brand communications plans to drive short term sales alongside long term brand growth.
  • Develop relationships with local agencies, media partners, sales team and retailer buyers and marketing teams.
  • Become fully abreast of local market audience behavior, industry landscape and retailer planning to ensure strong local execution and to unlock new opportunities.
  • Localize all global assets for local needs including press releases, TV commercials, digital assets and instore merchandise etc.
  • Produce local Sales support tools to drive growth and sell-in on ZURU’s portfolio of brands including local marketing presentations, brand success stories and media updates.
  • Work directly with Brand Managers, Sales and local retailer teams to ensure ZURU’s brands are represented in the best way across all retailer eCommerce sites.
  • Monitor competitors in market and understand thresholds to be competitive in Europe.

Relevant Background

  • 1+ years’ experience as Communication executive or Media executive at an agency or client side. (Candidates with 3+ Years’ experience will be considerated for Communication planner position)
  • Knowledge of Germany, UK, France and Benelux media markets and/or toy industry a big advantage.
  • Previous experience as a Communicaiton executive for a similar organization would be a strong advantage.
  • Related Degree or equivalent relevant experience in Marketing or Communications preferred.
  • Strong command of spoken and written English and German. German is a must (French or Dutch skill is a plus)
