At ZURU, our Creative team works across New Product Development and Design bringing our Toys and Edge brands to life. We hire interns at the beginning of every year to join our Design team and work on Global brands.

Why join our program

Our internship program provides a unique opportunity to join a company that is growing on a global scale. We promise to treat our interns like permanent team members by providing meaningful work where you are able to make an impact from day one. It’s a fast-moving environment where you’ll get responsibility early and plenty of opportunities to learn by doing. You’ll work alongside leaders who are experts in their fields and get a clear view of how the team, and the wider business, really operates. You will work closely with our Design experts who will provide meaningful work and mentorship to help you grow your creative skillset. Working on global projects, you will be able to see the impact your work has on shaping our global brands.

We look for interns who:

Are willing to be based in Auckland full-time from January-April.
Have completed or will complete their studies before the internship programme commences.
Are passionate and driven to create world-class design for a global mass market audience.
Are curious and willing to get stuck into anything and everything with a continuous improvement mindset and a perspective that challenges that status quo.
Approach novel tasks and challenges with humility and enthusiasm.

Application process

Successful applications will be invited to an online interview in early December
Candidates will then be invited to the task stage, in-person in Auckland and online
Offers will be finalised by late December 2026
The internship begins – mid January 2027!
